Polish-American Friendship Concert in Lidzbark Warminski

The Polish-American-Canadian Friendship Concert took place on Sunday, August 19, 2018 in Lidzbark Warmiński at the newly opened Municipal Amphitheater. The concert was conducted alternately by Andrzej Rozbicki, a conductor from Lidzbark Warmiński living in Toronto and Dr. Victor Wahby doctor and conductor living in Washington. The concert was attended by over 90 performers, including the Chamber Choir of the Wielkopolska Medical Chamber, the Polish Orchestra of Doctors, members of the orchestra and medical choir from the United States, and philharmonic musicians. Together with the orchestra and the choir, soloists performed: soprano laryngologist Hanna Zajaczkiewicz from Olsztyn, tenor Pawel Pecuszok from Warsaw, baritone Richard Kunz from Washington, soprano Justyna Chelminska from Poznań, who also prepared for the concert the choir and bass Aleksander Ładysz. The concert was listened to by over 2,500 spectators: the inhabitants of Lidzbark Warmiński and visiting guests. The concert commemorated the 710th anniversary of Lidzbark Warmiński.
